The project 'Cultural Heritage, Preservation, Sustainability and Promotion' #Heritage Sessions, selected, is part of the Andalucía Film Universe strategy promoted by the organisation.

With the aim of analysing the enormous possibilities offered by cultural heritage as a filming location and, on the other hand, the possible difficulties, since its managers have to preserve and care for its condition at all times, the project 'Cultural Heritage, Preservation, Sustainability and Promotion' will bring together specialists from different Autonomous Communities and experts from different countries in a meeting to facilitate and unify criteria.

#Heritage Sessions is an initiative that Andalucía Film Commission promotes within the framework of its strategy Andalucía Film Universe, and aims to discuss relevant aspects of the filming industry in its relationship with the territory, its culture and its economy.

This first milestone will focus on the enhancement of historical architectural heritage as a filming location. When monumental spaces and buildings become locations for films, advertisements and series, the association that the spectator makes with the territory where the filming takes place is direct.

This conference will take place on 9 and 10 March 2022 in Seville and will be a meeting and exchange point for professionals in cultural management, public and private monumental heritage management, art direction, production management, locations managers, film commission management and film offices, who will discuss the regulatory and operational complexities of a filming plan in locations with varying degrees of protection.

In addition to being able to follow the event via streaming, the AFC YouTube channel will feature capsules that will include the conclusions of the conference.

The Andalucía Film Commission team has been organising and preparing the agenda of meetings and designing the online space for months. The conferences will take place in Seville on 9 and 10 March, in Seville and on the organisation's Youtube channel.
